Certificate in Artificial Intelligence – Concepts, Techniques & Applications

6 Months (24 Weeks)

“Build real Generative AI and Agentic AI applications, end to end.”

Duration:
6 Months (24 Weeks)
Mode:
Classroom / Online / Hybrid

Overview

A practical, project-based introduction to cutting-edge AI — covering Large Language Models, prompt engineering, AI agents, RAG and MCP. Learners build chatbots, autonomous agents and multi-agent systems using LangGraph, vector databases and Redis, preparing them for entry-level AI engineering roles through a production-grade capstone project.

Who it’s for

Developers, technologists and graduates aiming for roles in AI engineering, applied GenAI or agentic AI development.

What you’ll learn

  • LLM fundamentals, tokens, embeddings and prompt engineering
  • Building AI agents with LangGraph and ReAct/Plan-and-Execute patterns
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with vector databases
  • Multi-agent systems, memory and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • AI security, guardrails, evaluation (DeepEval) and deployment (FastAPI, Docker)

Your 6-month journey

Month 1: AI Foundations & Python

you'll build your first AI chatbot with OpenAI/Ollama and sharpen core Python skills.

Month 2: Large Language Models & Prompt Engineering

you'll design dynamic prompt templates and build an AI travel planner with live tool calls.

Month 3: AI Agents & LangGraph

you'll build an autonomous research agent and a stateful LangGraph customer-support agent.

Month 4: Memory, RAG & Multi-Agent Systems

you'll build a Redis-powered memory agent and a production-grade RAG document chatbot.

Month 5: MCP, AI Security & AI Evaluation

you'll build a custom MCP server and run automated DeepEval evaluation tests.

Month 6: Capstone Project

you'll conceptualise, build, evaluate and deploy a production-grade autonomous AI agent solving a real business problem.

Assessment & certification

Ongoing assessment

Quizzes, assignments, practical labs and case studies verify progress throughout the programme.

Capstone project

A portfolio-ready final project contributes 20–40% of the final grade, depending on the programme.

Attendance standard

A minimum 80% attendance across classes, practicals and Finishing School is required for certification eligibility.

Credential awarded

Certificate in Artificial Intelligence – Concepts, Techniques & Applications

On successful completion, learners receive the Certificate in Artificial Intelligence, issued by Globeon Accreditation & Assessment Body (GAAB) UK, along with completion of the Finishing School enrichment module.

Finishing School included

Communication, professional presence, interview preparation and global workplace readiness are built into the final month.
